The Luther James Special
The Toy Tiger was a rock & roll/general entertainment club that operated from 1973 to 1999 at the corner of Bardstown Road and Goldsmith Lane in Louisville Kentucky. Luther James opened The Toy Tiger in 1973. It went on to become one of the city’s most beloved night spots. The Toy Tiger hosted local & national music acts, as well as supplemented those concerts with banana eating, wet T-shirt, and other crazy contests.
